As the Cryptocurrency wave takes over Uganda, at MM Plaza at the heart of Kampala, is the home of Crypto Bridge Africa, which is leading in educating the masses about the evolution of money, finance and technology. Being an independent marketing associate of One Life, the organization has built a robust training programme and financial empowerment for the people of Uganda, through One Life Network.
We visited Cryptobridge Africa today and learnt a great deal about what drives Mr.John Mwambutsya, the enterprising Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the organization. We asked him about his motive and how he decided to get involved in educating people about this business. His responses were very insightful. Monday Times: How and why did you get involved in educating people about all this?
Mr.John Mwambutsya, CEO Crypto Bridge Africa: I had heard a bit about this business but not know a lot about it. But I heard the world’s wealthiest man Bill Gates say that the future millionaires would not be from the Oil Industry as it hitherto was, but would be from those that invested in Cryptocurrency, the Digital Money. That statement moved me leaps and bounds. I decided to learn about it and educate my fellow Ugandans and Africans about this.
Monday Times: So what is One Coin all about?
Mr.John Mwambutsya, CEO Crypto Bridge Africa: Well One Coin is the future of payments, a Cryptocurrency that will change the money game in future. You know money and human transactions have evolved over the years from barter trade to visa cards and now the revolution of Cryptocurrency. Beyond being a coin, One Coin is an ecosystem.

Monday Times: Now, why should anyone keep these coins instead of their Uganda Shillings?
Mr.John Mwambutsya, CEO Crypto Bridge Africa: Well the coins appreciate in value while a dormant Uganda shilling does not. By the end of the year you would have got a lot more money for your coins than you previously had.
Monday Times: This is interesting. So from your point of view, how different is one coin from other Cryptocurrencies?
Mr.John Mwambutsya, CEO Crypto Bridge Africa: One Coin has a more elaborate KYC and KYB. KYC is short for Know Your Customer and we strive to know our customer on the One Coin Blockchain. We also have KYB which is short for Know Your Business. This is especially on the Deal Shaker. The KYC helps us to streamline the processes and allay concerns of policy makers. The Deal Shaker shall also have its own exchanger, to protect the wealth of its members and subscribers. We are also ensuring that one can buy items with their coins.Finally we have the KYCC (Know Your Customer’s Customer). Then we have the KYV which is Know Your Vendor. This approach ensures that we know who is vending or trading with us and our members.These approaches are vital to understanding all our members and how they transact and what impacts on their financial successes.
