The Anti-corruption court has given Uganda Revenue Authority & Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS) a go ahead to sell or auction pearl Gas stations that was owned by Sengooba K. Robert who’s now in Switzerland.

The plaintiff, President Museveni through UNBS & URA had ordered Anti-corruption court to sell or auction or put it under receivership as a way to recover taxes inflicted on Sengooba.

URA had seized cash from Sengooba’s Gas stations amounting to $ 600,000 (about UGX2.2bn), 2 trailers in depot loaded with smuggled & substandard fuels PMS, AGO & BIK 166,750 liter.

The judge said that he was ordered by the appointing authority & Justice minister in writing, that the defendant’s home & his other properties should be sold by URA & URSB was also tasked to look for a buyer(s) or investor(s)in a way of recovering back taxes that Sengooba had dodged.

Ex Pearl boss was represented by Kimra & Alaka Co advocates well as URA & UNBS were represented by President Museveni’s appointed legal team led by his blue eyed boy Kirunda & Wasige & the alleged “adopted daughter” of President Museveni Patricia Kimera.

The defendant’s legal team complained to the judge “that URA and UNBS didn’t consult them for talks, at least they would have traced a buyer/s or a dealer/s or someone to lease the Gas stations”

They added that URA & UNBS’s legal team was hired by President Museveni & gave them funds, cars & Motorbikes in a way of thanking them.

In a written letter signed by the president and seen by this website, the defendant’s legal team added that “we don’t expect justice for our client because no judge or judges can try the appointing authority the (president/CIC)”

“We are to file affidavit in supreme court accusing our colleagues Kirunda P. Kimera & Wasige (on individual merit) for conflict of interest & breach of client’s relationship in account of their past dubious court deals, bribery & extortion & double dealings with their ex client Mr. Sengooba”

“My lord, our humble prayer to you, is that these colleagues don’t qualify to be here, we also pray that Law developed centre revoke their licenses because of infidelity & breach of secrecy & we don’t want their mediation talks”

Defendant’s legal team, added “its illicit to search someone’s home/property/s without “court  search order” & police’s search certificate” the lawyer of the accused didn’t witness the search, under section 27 (i) of Ugandan laws, URA was illicit”
