Singer Bebe Cool has accused People Power movement started by fellow Singer and Kyadondo East legislator Kyagulanyi Sentamu (also known as Bobi Wine)as being behind a culture of throwing bottles at entertainment events. Bebe Cool made his comments on his social media page after the Ebonies Theatre Group was pelted with stones at a concert in London over the weekend.

Although the reasons for this action are still unclear, Bebe Cool said People Power which is in Uganda and has supporters in the diaspora was behind the move.

“People power created a disease, they never thought of creating it’s medicine, the disease is infecting them and it’s people too at a very fast rate, they don’t have no idea what will happen to them the day they fail to give people what they promise.
Oh my my,it has no limits, old or young, social, economic, political, in Uganda or beyond its boarders,it will apply till the innocent become victims of greed, mislead,no tolerance, impatience, ungreatfulness, lack of Vision.
I stand for #PEACE#SILENTMAJORITY and i condemn violence.
No matter what happens, Ugandans must stop thinking about them selves and start thinking about the picture of the country we are painting to the rest of the world which is definitely uncalled for.
There is always a better way to solve problems than violence. Mark my words,” Bebe Cool said in his Facebook post.

Bebe Cool’s claims have been met with furious responses from Bobi Wine’s supporters on social media.
