Monday Times: What exactly does Petal Pushers do?
Derrick Charles Kafeero: We supply fresh natural flowers of different types, colors, scents and designs to our esteemed customers. We have flowers for different functions such as romantic (valentines), birthdays, kukyala, introductions, weddings, dinners, funerals, baptism, graduation, and many more.
We can send someone to organize the flowers to look nice and smart at a function if at all we agree on price.
Monday Times: How different are you from other suppliers of flowers?
Derrick Charles Kafeero: We have good quality flowers. We deal in flowers from Kenya only and they have the best flowers in the region. We also have good customer care and we help our customers to make good choice by giving them the options available after they tell us what they want.
Monday Times: What are your working hours and days?
Derrick Charles Kafeero: We work every Monday to Sunday from 7am to 11pm.
Monday Times: How are your prices like?
Derrick Charles Kafeero: Our prices are affordable and negotiable. It depends on what someone wants because as you know the flowers might be large or small or of different types.
Monday Times: If I am in Mukono and want you to deliver for me flowers up to there, can you do it?
Derrick Charles Kafeero: Yes we can. We have even delivered flowers as far as Iganga and beyond. It is a matter of calling us and order in time.
Monday Times: What should someone planning to buy flowers know before they come to your place of supply?
Derrick Charles Kafeero: They need to know the occasion so that we are able to get them something suitable.
Monday Times: How can someone preserve the flowers they have bought for the occasion during the occasion?
Derrick Charles Kafeero: They should not put them near heat. They should try to give them fresh water. And they should ensure that people do not step on them or pluck off parts of the flower.
