League strugglers, Nyamityobora FC will visit Police FC in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League, second round opener at Lugogo on Tuesday.

It should be noted that Police Fc registered their first win of the first round of the season after beating Nyamityobora in the first leg encounter 2-1 at Wankulukuku.

Asaph Mwebaze, Nyamityobora’s head coach who replaced James Odoch is confident of all the three points at Lugogo.

“We are going to play well and see that we win this game. The boys are all in good conditions and I have no injured players, so we are ready. The unveiled players, some of them will feature in today’s game,” he said.

Abudallah Mubiru is however aiming at winning the tie home and away.

“There are no easy games and it will be another task for us but we hope to use home advantage well and get the desired points. My players are ready to win the second leg as well, so am confident we are going to win,” he said.

The hosts will hope Juma Balinya returns with the form he enjoyed in the first part of the season. Balinya finished the first round as a joint second top scorer with 9 goals. Mubiru will as well hope Ruben Kimera and Johnson Odong can produce the magic. Andrew Okiring remains sidelined with injury but the rest of the squad is fine.

Meanwhile, the visitors will rely on Ibrahim Dada for goals with Alex Komakech also in the mix.

Nyamityobora FC has no injured players therefore they are ready for the game.

Police occupy the 8th position in the 16-team log with 21 points while Nyamityobora are third from bottom with 9 points.

On the other hand, Tooro United will host Express FC at the Buhinga Stadium in Fortportal at 4pm.
