The President of the Republic of Uganda, General Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has sent out a heart felt message to the Uganda Cranes team at the TOTAL Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Egypt 2019 finals.
In the message, the President, a keen follower of the beautiful game encourages the Uganda Cranes players, members of the technical team, FUFA team and fans to aim for nothing but gold.
He also urges the team to replicate the form that they exhibited during the entire qualification campaign where Uganda Cranes topped group L with 13 points.
Over the years, the Government of Uganda, especially President Museveni, the first lady Janet Museveni, state minister of sports, Hon. Charles Bakabulindi and the National Council of Sports have effortlessly supported the gradual progression of football by offering the crucial helping hand to the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA).
