PTC Bar is a club and bar located on Salaama Road in Kampala. The bar which doubles as a sports bar has been in operation for quite some time. It offers different kinds of services that include but are not limited to entertainment, eats and drinks.
We spoke to Mr.William Mitanda, the proprietor, who told us about the bar and club and how it satisfies its customers diligently.
Monday Times: Good afternoon Mr.Mitanda. Tell us a bit about PTC Bar. What do you have here?
Mr.William Mitanda: PTC is a bar and club. Very many people come and hang out at the bar. We are also privileged to host artistes who also tend to come over and spend their time here. It is a very busy place providing entertainment, eats and drinks to our customers. Our venue host parties of different kinds and meetings. We have football matches on giant screens and every now and then we do have performances by entertainers.
Every Thursday we also have Silent Disco.
Monday Times: This is fantastic. So how different are you from other bars and clubs in Kampala?
Mr.William Mitanda: We have a lot going on here. We have better services. Our customer care is fantastic. We host parties free of charge, and we have very good parking space for those with cars. We interact a lot with artistes and you can say that our club is a club for artistes. Everyone comes here.
Above that we have very good and high quality DJs.
Monday Times: Okay. Now what are your opening hours and days?
Mr.William Mitanda: We open twenty four hours a day from Monday to Sunday.
Monday Times: Do you do delivery services for food and drinks, in case I have a function?
Mr.William Mitanda: Yes we do it on order. It also depends on what the customer is interested in taking.
Monday Times: How are your prices like?
Mr.William Mitanda: Our prices are pocket friendly and affordable.
Monday Times: When it comes to security, how secure and safe is PTC?
Mr.William Mitanda: We have advanced and tight security measures. We have CCTV Cameras and bouncers, in addition to other security.
