Remote Control is a musician set to take over the music industry in Uganda.Monday Times spoke to him about his career and plans.
Monday Times: So who exactly is Remote Control?
Remote Control: I am Oundua Ngobi Alex a.k.a Remote control. Born and grew up from mutungo Bbiina. I later moved to stay in kasubi . I am a simple humble guy who has aims of becoming a star, I do my music as a passion and to appreciate the gift given to me by God. I love business and I have a lot of ambitions to help others in each and every field where I can reach.
Monday Times: What kind of music do you do?
Remote Control: Majorly I do Ragga, Zouk, Afrobeat and Reggae Music but I write each and every style of songs
Monday Times: When did you start singing?
Remote Control: I started singing right from my childhood in school but I realized my talent at 10yrs when I joined the church choir. I used to sing in the Sunday school, youth choir and the main church choir.During my high school I used to perform my own freestyle until 2016 when I recorded my first song called “Happy Day” and right now I am working upon my full album title “Money.”
It has songz like #Kwekoza my latest release with “Zivuga records” and “Sidesoft pro” under their management together with “Gold Muzik”
Monday Times: Who inspired you?
Remote Control: My mother, because I grew up watching my mum leading choirs in church and village women groups.She used to take me along with her whenever she was going for rehearsals,from this point I learnt their songs and since she was a good vocalist she taught me how to sing and encouraged me so much to join the church and school choirs.
Monday Times: How many songs do you have?
Remote Control: So far I have an album of 12 done songs titled “money” and I have released three songs off it #Happy day,#Money, #Kwekoza my current release and they are all audios. But kwekoza video is going to be released before April.
Monday Times: Who writes your songs ?
Remote Control: I write most of my songs but on this album I have been helped by Jazz Mavoko.
Monday Times: What does your family think about your music?
Remote Control: I am just glad that my family encourages me to push my music and my talent in general most especially my mum but in all they do support me and wish the best for me.
Monday Times: Which musician would you want to do a collaboration with?
Remote Control: On my side I would wish to do a collabo with any good musician around the globe,just because I believe in the best all the time and my goals are big in order to boost my talent worldwide.

Remote Control: I am just appreciating them for loving my music and to support me unconditionally.
