KCCA FC endured a frustrating evening as Mbarara City FC put up a resilient performance to hold them to a goalless draw at Kakyeka Stadium, Mbarara.
Despite the game ending in a barren stalemate, either side had a couple of chances.
Whereas Mbarara City FC failed to find the cutting edge they had goalkeeper Ali Kimera to thank after numerous saves to deny KCCA FC.
The shot stopper put up a man of the match performance making numerous saves to keep KCCA FC at bay.
The visitors did not respect KCCA FC and marched them for the better part of the game.
Mbarara City FC looked the better team in the opening stanza.
KCCA FC started the second half like a house on fire in a bid to break the deadlock but Mbarara City FC back line remained impenetrable.
The Kasasiro boys remain at the top of the log with 37 points while The Ankole Lions remain in the third position with 29 points.
In the next game, KCCA will welcome Onduparaka FC to the StarTimes Stadium, Lugogo while Mbarara City travel to Maroons FC
Elsewhere, BUL FC put up an outstanding performance against Maroons Fc at FUFA Technical Centre Njeru, Jinja. The Jinja based side scooped all the three points after beating Maroons 1-0 thanks to a fine finish from Banga Farouk in the 40th minute.
