Sinolead Forwarder Kampala Uganda, is a leading firm in the clearing and forwarding business in Uganda. It is located on Mabirizi Complex, Level 4, Room 06 in the heart of Kampala City.
Today we visited Sinolead Forwarder and spoke to Mr.John Peter, the manager, who told us a lot about the business and how they serve their customers.
Monday Times: Good evening Mr.John Peter. Tell us a bit about what Sinolead Forward does in Uganda?
Mr.John Peter: We are involved in clearing and forwarding. We do product sourcing, translation, procure invitation letters, hotel bookings, airport company vans, and warehousing services. We also do logistics, clearing and cargo services.
We help traders and other people to transport their goods to or from Uganda.
Monday Times: Okay. How different are you from others who do this kind of work?
Mr.John Peter: We are very experienced and have served for over ten years doing this kind of work.
Monday Times: What are your working hours and days?
Mr.John Peter: Monday to Saturday from 7.30am to 6.00pm.
Monday Times: If I am far away and want you to come and serve me there, can you come and do so?
Mr.John Peter: Yes I can come and do so. We are very flexible and can move from place to place doing so.
Monday Times: How are your prices like?
Mr.John Peter: Our prices are very affordable and we are capable of giving very good discounts.
Monday Times: Okay. So how long do the goods take to reach me as a customer?
Mr.John Peter: It depends on the loading point and the final destination of the goods. But we tend to tell you right at the beginning about how long it will take.
Monday Times: Do you do LCL Group Containers?
Mr.John Peter: Yes we do.
Monday Times: Do you do Pre-Inspection for example BV SGC and CNCA?
Mr.John Peter: Yes we do always provide the prices before starting the job.
Monday Times: Can you help me pack my goods?
Mr.John Peter: Yes we help you to pack We have chargeable compressing machines and other equipment for packing.
Monday Times: Can you ship from any Chinese Province or any part of Emirates in U.A.E?
Mr.John Peter: Yes we can.
Monday Times: When I am not in China or Dubai, can you be my reliable business assistant?
Mr.John Peter: Yes we can once you provide us with the correct specifications of the product needed.
Monday Times: Can I insure my goods after loading from the loading point to the final destination?
Mr.John Peter: Yes our team orients you to do that.

Mr.John Peter: We are located in Kampala but our branches are in Guangzhou, Yiwu City China. We also have branches in Kigali Rwanda, Bujumbura Burundi and Goma DRC
