Don Wanyama the head of presidential team has today disregarded the circulating letter  said to have been written by  President Museveni to  Speaker Kadaga as being fake.

Wanyama posted, “I gather most of you are inquiring about this letter purportedly written by the President to the Speaker. It is a fake. It is a concoction.”

The fraudulent letter dated November 3rd shows it was written by President Museveni responding to Speaker of Parliament Rebecca Kadaga on what happened  on September 27th when over 40 plain clothed men believed to be  Special Forces Command (SFC) entered Parliament backed by police and fought MPs out of the chambers.

The 25 MPs on that date  were suspended by the Speaker for disrupting the Parliament proceedings.

Kadaga on October 23rd wrote to the President seeking for an explanation of why the alleged SFC men had to come in.

“I had requested the Sergeant At Arms to remove the members from the house, unknown people entered and beat up the members,”Kadaga noted.

“Camera footage shows people walking in single file from the office of the President to parliament precincts,” she added.

Kadaga then wrote to Museveni that,” I am seeking for an explanation as to the identity, mission, and purpose of the unsolicited forces, why they assaulted the members of parliament and why the members were arrested and transported and contained at police stations.”

The fake letter notes that the forces came in on request of the Speaker.

“You needed intervention to assist you to ensure that the parliamentary proceedings go ahead without interruption”, reads the counterfeited  letter.

Wanyama said that the concerned authorities will get those behind these forgeries and bring them to account.
