FUFA Drum 2019: Winners, losers of match day one

The second edition of the FUFA drum kicked off on Saturday 30th March.

Defending Champions, Buganda Province hosted David Obua’s Lango province at Bishops Playground in Mukono. Buganda Province secured a hard fought 1-0 win in a game that witnessed a huge crowd from both sets of fans.

Several games were played on Sunday 31st march across the country.

Ankole Province came out winners against Sebei Province. Ankole secured a hard fought 3-2 win.

West Nile on the other hand lost at home against Bunyoro Province. Bunyoro left it late with a 1-2 win over resilient West Nile province.

Bugisu Province also secured a 1-0 win against Kigezi Province while Kampala Province fell into the hands of Rwenzori region. Rwenzori stole a 1-0 win from Kampala.

Elsewhere, Bukedi Province secured a 3-1 victory against Teso in Butaleja while Acholi Province were the winners against Karamoja Province.

Busoga Province drew 1-all with Tooro Province.

Next Fixtures-Match Day 2 will be played across the weekend of 13th- 14th April, 2019
