Immediately after Donald Trump’s highly publicized visit to his brother Robert Trump, Robert has passed on. In a statement released by Trump, he said that his brother’s death was a painful loss.
“It is with heavy heart I share that my wonderful brother, Robert, peacefully passed away tonight. He was not just my brother, he was my best friend. He will be greatly missed, but we will meet again. His memory will live on in my heart forever. Robert, I love you. Rest in peace,” Trump’s statement reads.
Robert Trump passed away at a New York Hospital, where Trump had visited him on Friday. He is widely remembered for trying to stop the publication of a book that was written by Mary Trump, their niece.
