Trump driven outside hospital

US President Donald Trump has sparked criticism for leaving his hospital bed to greet supporters. Trump was chauffeured in a black SUV outside the hospital before being returned to continue his medication at the Walter Reed Medical centre.

Trump has been criticized for putting at risk his driver and security official by driving with them.

“Every single person in the vehicle during that completely unnecessary presidential ‘drive-by’ just now has to be quarantined for 14 days,” Dr Phillips tweeted. “They might get sick. They may die. For political theatre. Commanded by Trump to put their lives at risk for theatre. This is insanity,” Dr.James Phillips a medical doctor at George Washington University said.

The medical team looking after Donald Trump say he could leave hospital on Monday, if he continued improving.
