Uganda has confirmed eight more cases of coronavirus, raising the total to nine

In a press briefing on Monday, Health Minister Jane Ruth Aceng said all the patients are Ugandan nationals who traveled from Dubai.

She said they have all been isolated as all the persons who came into contact with them are being traced.

The country first registered her first case on Saturday afternoon. The first patient was identified at Entebbe International Airport after he arrived from Dubai where he had gone for a business trip.
