Uganda Human Rights Commission Chairman (UHRC) Meddie Kaggwa has passed on.
Officials at UHRC confirmed the development saying that Mr Kaggwa also a lawyer collapsed while driving his official car around Mulago.
The officials said that Kaggwa was driving himself in the UHRC official vehicle on Wednesday morning at about 7.30am.
Kaggwa, a former member of both the Ugandan Parliament and the East African Legislative Assembly, was scheduled to take part in a media round table discussion organised by the UN children’s agency to commemorate World Children’s Day, today.
