UJA President Bashir Kazibwe airlifted to Nairobi

The International Hospital in Kampala (IHK) on Friday discharged the Uganda Journalists Association (UJA) President Hajj Bashir Kazibwe to seek for further medical attention in Nairobi Kenya.

Kazibwe was last Sunday admitted to International Hospital Kampala (IHK) after fainting in studio.Since then he has been complaining of severe headache, stomachache and fever.

UJA deputy secretary for information, Paul Lubwama, said Friday that Kazibwe is still in bad shape and his condition has not stabilised despite the discharge.

“The family is seeking further treatment and analysis from specialists of their choice,” Lubwama said.

Mbaziira hosts presidential advisor on media matters Tamale Mirundi on “One on One with Tamale Mirundi” programme on NBS Television.

Kazibwe, is also working with Vision Group, under Bukedde Fama 100.5 ‘Embuutizi’ a local radio station where he is the presenter of the popular investigative program locally known as ‘Ekiryatabaala’.
