Veronica Luggya alias Vinka is in cloud nine after striking a mega recording deal with Sony Music.
The news was officially broken by her record label through their official Facebook page.

We are very excited to have Sony joining hands with us to propel your brand to new heights. This new partnership is evidence that you haven’t put a foot wrong since you started and we are committed to even do more with this new development,” Read the post
Vinka becomes the second Ugandan to have a deal of this kind that sees an artiste from Uganda signed to a multi-billion album with a major record company after talented Hip Hop rapper, Keko.
The deal was signed at Sony Music Africa offices in South Africa and the ‘Chip Na Ketchup’ Singer was in company of Julius Kyazze who is one of the bosses at Swangz Avenue.
Vinka’s addition to Sony comes after Nigeria’s Tiwa Savage put pen to paper and joined rival music label – Universal Music. The Ugandan joins Wizkid and Davido at Sony.
Sony Music Entertainment is an American global music conglomerate owned by Sony Cooperation. It’s considered to be one of the biggest record companies in the world.
