Wakiso Giants’ Norman Ogik signs for Etincelles FC in Rwanda

Wakiso Giants’ striker Norman Ogik has completed a move to Rwandese side Etincelles FC on a two year contract.

Ogik joins from Wakiso Giants where he spent the second half of last season on loan, helping the Purple Sharks attain promotion to the SUPL.

On the same note, Ndejje University’s Stephen Ategeka also sealed a move to the same side signing a two year deal.

Ogik previously played for Sadolin Paints (Kansai Plascon) Police FC respectively.

While Ategeka was at Soana Football Club (now Tooro United) before his departure to Ndejje Lions.

The two will become the first Ugandans to play for the Rwanda topflight side since defender Moses Kamya in the 2016-17 season.

Last season, Etincelles FC finished 8th on the Rwanda National Football league with 37 points. The Flames host their games at Rubavu Stadium.
