Renowned journalist Solomon Serwanjja has quit NBS TV.

The Komla Dumor award joins the likes of Raymond Mujuni, Joseph Sabiiti and Sheila Tusiime Mugisha among others to leave the Kamwokya based TV station.

Word on the streets is Mr. Sserwanja did not hesitate to leave the popular  TV station after he received an offer from a major broadcasting network in Nairobi.

A source which considers anonymity further tipped us that this week will be Sserwanja’s last to appear on the station’s screen.

Last night he was in Kenya streaming giving updates about the deadly and horny locusts which have now evaded the country.

We have also learnt that Serwanja has already served the station with a resignation letter.

It should be noted that within a space of less than a month, NBS has lost some of it top gems including the head of creatives DJ Bush Baby who rejoined Vision Group and Mujuni who rejoined Nation Media Group last week.

“This Friday is my last day working with the Next Media Group. It has been an amazing two years & three months working with each of you to build, grow and maintain the brand Next Media as Uganda’s biggest media franchise,” Mujuni posted on his social media platforms last week.

“I have enjoyed working and building this dream mostly with the Investigations Desk and our news profile. I have also done this severally with Next Radio and NilePost where I have been a show host/producer and columnist concurrently,” he added.
