Today we visited the boutique at No.77 Cham Towers, where we met the management team. They took us around and also gave us further insight into how they work and their pride in satisfying their clients.

Monday Times: Your bridal boutique is amazing. How did you put this all together?

Management of Winnie’s Bridal: We came up with ideas of what we thought would be great for brides who were looking for outfits that were not just elegant, but were exceptional for their special day. A wedding is not an ordinary day. It is a once in a lifetime opportunity. We wanted them to experience something through elegant dressing, that would last in their memories for a life time.

Monday Times: So what does Winnie’s Bridal boutique have within for brides who would like that special outfit?

Management of Winnie’s Bridal: We have a variety of products. First we do have gowns of different kinds. We also have changing dressings, which some could call party dresses. We have Tiaras, Veils, Gloves, Shoes and related accessories that brides tend to use.

Monday Times: How different are you from other bridal boutiques?

Management of Winnie’s Bridal: Our difference is in the quality of garments and accessories and the quality of customer service.

Then, when you become a client at Winnie’s Bridals, it does not end at booking and taking the gown. We offer advice to you and we can actually come and dress you at your function if you would like. On some occasions we can prepare one of your team to dress you so that it goes alright all through.

We can also order for brides a garment or accessory they might have seen somewhere and would like.

Monday Times: Interesting. What are your working hours and days?

Management of Winnie’s Bridal: We open at 9am and close at 5pm Monday to Saturday. Other arrangements can be made outside these days and time, with client upon their request.

Monday Times: If a client is quite a distance away, say in Lugazi, but has read this article and seen something that they love to have, can you deliver to them?

Management of Winnie’s Bridal: Well delivery is great because it amplifies convenience for the client. The other side of it which makes us prefer that they come to the boutique is that sometimes garments might not fit. It would be inconveniencing for our dear bride to keep sending back and forth the garments or accessories,yet one visit will make us try out everything and more.

Monday Times: How are your prices like for these nice elegant outfits?

Management of Winnie’s Bridal: Our prices match with the quality of outfits and accessories we have. But they are affordable.

Monday Times: What is the most important consideration a bride should have when choosing a gown?

Management of Winnie’s Bridal: It should be how they want to be seen and how they want to remember their day. They also need to know specific designs they love. Sometimes we encourage them to bring pictures of other gowns seen perhaps online or in magazines and we come up with ideas of the best thing to do for them.
