The much anticipated Wizkid concert in Kampala has finally been confirmed. Rumours of Wizkid’s coming to Kampala were silenced as twitter messages went around social media confirming the cancellation of the show.
Organisers have cleared the air over the controversial concert that has been named “Thursday night live with wizkid”.
The Nigerian star will be performing live at Lugogo cricket oval alongside Uganda’s finest Radio and Weasle, B2C, Fille, Winnie Nwagi, Geosteady, Vampino, King Saha, among others. Kampala’s best deejays such as Dj Shiru, Dj Roja, Dj Hearts, Dj Nimrod among others have confirmed their attendance too.
Peejay Boaz, Face tv’s Executive Director which is one of the organisers of the show has promised the best performance on the long awaited show.
“Ugandans should not only expect the best of performances, but musical experiences as well. We are going to ensure that everything from the production to the set up is top notch,” explained Peejay.
‘Thursday night live with wizkid’ is slated for 7th December at Lugogo cricket oval. Early tickets go for 25k ordinary and 75k VIP until December 7th.
The concert has been organised by Face tv and Star times Uganda.
